Signature Living is dedicated to creating luxurious hotels in the city of Liverpool, which is why we plan to revitalise the former White Star Line headquarters into a Titanic themed luxury hotel named 30 James Street.
The White Star Line building stands as an iconic symbol of the Titanic story, and is rich in Liverpool’s architectural and cultural history. RMS Titanic was registered in Liverpool to the White Star headquarters on 24th March, 1912.
It is a little known fact that Liverpool has many other significant connections to RMS Titanic, as many of the crew and chief engineers hailed from Liverpool.
The White Star Line building is located in the centre of the city, and is perfectly positioned within walking distance to Liverpool’s vibrant nightlife, as well as an incredible shopping centre, Liverpool One, that attracts tourists from across the globe.
It is a great shame that such a beautiful building has been left unused for many years, which is why we are passionate about preserving and restoring the original architecture to revive the building of its charm and character.
30 James Street will offer the luxury accommodation Signature Living is renowned for. With plans for 350 beds, 67 separate accommodations, a bar, spa, pool and restaurant, all whilst preserving the history and architecture of the building as much as possible.
This fantastic project will undoubtedly benefit the city of Liverpool, and we expect the hotel to launch by April 2014.
