White Star Building, Home of Titanic

The Home of Titanic

In April of 2014, Signature Living aim to open what was the head office of the ill fated Titanic vessel, not only does this building have some of the most stunning views of the three graces, which have a World Heritage status, but it also has stunning views of the Albert Dock and the Mersey.

Signature Living, wish to keep the same high level of accommodation and service that our guests have grew accustomed to, as we are the only accommodation provider in the U.K. to have two listings in the same City, being No1 for Hotel’s and also for Speciality lodging.

When designing this hotel I have tried and hopefully succeeded in not creating a Hotel that resembles a museum. My view was to create a Hotel that has never been created before, a hotel with a history like no other, each room will be totally bespoke, with a definitive history specific to that room. The historical past that alines itself to 30 James Street, is breathtaking, Norman Shaw, Titanic, Ismay, J.P.Morgan and the Cunard, to name but a few. Then there is the History between the Cunard and the White Star, which is breathtaking, they were so finely tuned to each other, that when one jumped the other jumped higher.

Liverpool City Council, have now purchased the Cunard Building that will be the Port of Liverpool, creating what will be one of the most stunning Port’s in the U.K. and maybe even another Hotel for the many passengers that would like to sample and feel apart of Britain’s Maritime history.

Please view the history of these two Iconic Companies on the next page.

It is our intention to bring this Iconic building back to life, by creating a 350 bed apart-hotel.
