Hope and Glory Festival

This brand new festival is set to takeover Liverpool’s St George’s quarter, outside the World Museum and St John’s gardens on the first weekend in August.
The main events will take place at The Great Exhibition stage which will welcome headliners James and 70 piece orchestra Hacienda Classical, alongside The View, The Fratellis, Razorlight, Ocean Colour Scene and many more.
As well as the main stage there will be a variety of acts such as stand ups and an air guitar competition at Wonder of the Age Stage.
The Lady Garden Stage will play host to eclectic acts like Charlotte Church and a football legends charity darts competition, it’s sure to a be a highlight of August.
When: 5th August 2017
A famous club night that has been hosted in Ibiza, London and Manchester, 4mation is coming to Liverpool to play a unique basement event in the quirky Arthouse, on Seel Street.
This night is completely free and will be filled with atmosphere, energy and quality House, Deep House, Tech House and Techno grooves.
They aim to build something special in this deep dark dimension under the city streets over the coming months.
Swing Afternoon Tea
When: 6th August 2017
Where: 30 James Street
Set in the stunning White Star Grand Hall at 30 James Street, expect all the traditional finger sandwiches, delicious cakes, pastries, homemade scones, tea, coffee and of course a glass of fizz, but with the added addition of some swing classics.

Lana del Rey

Lana Del Rey is set to grace the stage of Liverpool’s Echo Arena on 22nd August in one of only two scheduled live performances in U.K.
She recently released her fifth studio album Lust for Life which features collaborations with The Weeknd, Stevie Nicks and son of John Lennon, Sean Lennon.
This album follows up her UK number one album’s ‘Born to Die’, ‘Ultraviolence’ and number two ‘Honeymoon’.
Tickets go on sale on Monday 31st and are sure to sell out within minutes so get in there quick!
International Beatles Week
When: 23rd-29th August
Where: Various venues
This annual festival that celebrates the fab four is set to take over a wide range of venues in August, including the Cavern, The Royal Court, Alma de Cuba, St George’s Hall and many more.
With performances from The Bootleg Beatles, Larry Kane, The Original Quarrymen, Cavern Club Beatles and loads of fun Beatles themed activities, its a great day out for any music fan.
After all, Liverpool wouldn’t be Liverpool without a week dedicated to celebrating The Beatles.
Liverpool Prosecco Festival
When: 27th August

If you’re a lover of all things fizz, the Liverpool Prosecco festival is one for you.
Set within Camp and Furnace, this fabulous new festival will feature exclusive producers from across Northern Italy who will be hosting tastings and masterclasses.
Both days will be split into four-hour afternoon and evening session, 1pm-5pm and 7pm-11pm, giving you enough time to find your favourites and sample something new.
Ticket prices entitle you to five tokens that can be exchanged for glasses of prosecco, a booklet explaining the background and history behind the producers and all food on the site.
The Merchant, on Slater Street will also be holding an after-party on both nights from 11pm-3am. Get ready to boogie to DJ sets from Hercules and Love Affair on the Saturday and Gimme Gimme Gimme ABBA After Midnight on the Sunday.
