Back by popular demand, The Jersey Boys are officially touring the UK again and they’re stopping off at Liverpool’s Empire Theatre in January.

The internationally acclaimed stage sensation has won 57 major awards worldwide, including the Olivier Award for Best New Musical.

Jersey Boys tells the true life story of four boys from the wrong side of the tracks, who invent their own unique sound of music and sell 100 million records worldwide.

Featuring hit after legendary hit including Beggin’, December 1963, Can’t Take My Eyes Off You, Walk Like A Man, Bye Bye Baby, Big Girls Don’t Cry and many more, Jersey Boys is a story full of heart, humour and sheer musical razzmatazz.

The Late Wake Club: David Bowie

The Late Wake Club is coming to Liverpool to celebrate the life and times of one of the single most influential icons of music industry, David Bowie.

Set at the amazing Camp and Furnace, expect every iconic Bowie hit, his influences, influencers and collaborators from their resident DJ.

There will also be a makeover station, all you have to do is choose your era and you could become the Starman himself!

Like with any wake there is of course the complimentary free finger food buffet and cup of tea.

Celebrating Sgt Pepper Live

As Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band reaches its half century, the Echo Arena Liverpool are celebrating its 10th birthday with a Beatles party you’ll never forget.

The award-winning Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra and the nation’s premier Beatles group, The Bootleg Beatles, are teaming up to perform this iconic album live, in its entirety.

Orchestrated by Nigel Osborne and hosted by the legendary Liverpool poet Roger McGough, this special concert is a once in a lifetime opportunity to experience what Rolling Stone magazine proclaimed ‘the number one greatest album of all time’, complete with full-blown symphonic backing.

Incorporating many other hits from the heady days of 1967, including ‘Strawberry Fields’, ‘Penny Lane’ and ‘All You Need Is Love’, don’t miss this highlight of 2018.

Pop up Pug Cafe

One of our favourite events in Liverpool in January , HUS are bringing a pop up pug cafe to their bar and restaurant, for a day of doggy madness.

HUS will be transformed into puggy paradise, so pug owners and pug lovers can bring their curly-tailed pals to the cafe to meet some new friends and tuck into some delicious doggo treats.

There will be a whole menu dedicated to pugs, featuring delicious pupcakes, scrumptious bark-scotti, amazing dognuts, pug cookies and more. Plus, each and every pug will receive a free puguccino!

As for the humans, you’ll get to enjoy the wide range of food and drink on the menu at HUS, from sweet cakes, pastries and pancakes to tasty croquettes, small plates and skandi-style breakfasts.

Bongo’s Bingo featuring the Vengaboys

The infamous Bongo’s Bingo is back this January and they’re bringing pop legends The Vengaboys with them!

It’s bingo like you’ve never known it before. Get ready for eyes down and a night of impromptu raves, dance offs, hands in the air anthem singing and prizes so bad they’re good.

As always there are incredible prizes up for grabs, amazing music and even some surprises guests!

Winter Ale Festival

This January, the Winter Ale Festival is coming to St George’s Hall for a celebration of the best beers from around the world.

Set in one of the most iconic building in the city, you can enjoy over 200 different real ales and ciders, alongside an indoor Gin Garden with a selection of boutique gins, Liverpool spirits, wine, prosecco and canned beers.

They will be opening the doors to a never before used abandoned space & recreating an atmosphere similar to the illegal underground parties of the 90’s.

Expect a blend of House music, to garage, Disco and beyond, plus psychedelic, trippy lighting and fully immersive psychedelic decor.
